Svetlana Aneiko was born in Minsk on January 21, 1990. In 2009 she graduated from the Lida State School of Music specializing in violin. From 2009 to 2014 she studied at the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts, specializing in comparative study of art. She received a master’s degree in art criticism in 2016. Now she is pursuing a PhD in the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts.
Svetlana Aneiko has been working at the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus since 2016: Scientific and Educational Work Division (2016–2018), as a scientific secretary (2018–2019). She has been Deputy Director General for Scientific and Educational Activities of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus since September 2019.
She is a chairman of the fund and purchasing commission, attribution and methodological councils of the museum, a member of the museumification working party of the 4th launch area along 24 Karl Marx Street. The 4th launch area is a part of the object ‘Restoration and adaptation of a single complex of buildings of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus’. She heads the team of authors on the concept development of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus for 2021–2025.
Svetlana Aneiko is engaged in research, participates in national and international scientific and practical conferences, seminars, forums.
She is a holder of fellowship of the Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for social support of gifted students.
