Solo Exhibition of Mikalaj Isajonak Dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the artist

The National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus

The exhibition of Mikalaj Isajonak opens at the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus on July 15, 2022. It is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the master.

Its goal is to present the unique retrospective of the artist’s rich creative heritage in 40 years, and to introduce the master’s new works he has recently painted. Mikalaj Isajonak is a native of Čarnievičy Village, Minsk Region. He was one of the first graduates of the Minsk State Art College named after A. K. Glebov.

Mikalaj Isajonak is not only a recognized master of painting, but also one of the leading landscape painters in modern Belarus. His works combine severely balanced compositions and emotional intensity, lyrical sensibility of images and a rational basis.

According to the artist, he paints his Fatherland in its true colours, but always with emotional excitement. He believes that an artist can fail without a feeling of the national.

The artist’s works are in the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, in the collections of the Belarusian Union of Artists, in the collection of the Union of Artists of Russia, in the state museums of the People’s Republic of China, in the State Tretyakov Gallery, and in numerous private collections.
