The display features over 80 of the finest works by Belarusian female artists and folk artisans. Among them are unique masterpieces by Valiaryana Zholtak, Raisa Kudrevich, Ninel Shchasnaya, Natallia Paplauskaya, Lyudmila Rusava, Zoya Litvinava, Alena Barkhatkova, Larysa Zhuravovich, Valiantsina Sidarava, Tamara Vasyuk and many others. These works represent various forms of fine and applied arts: from oil paintings, sculptures and drawings to delicate vytsinankas and hand-woven ruchniki.
The viewer is presented with a gallery of portraits of women known for their diverse personal histories and occupations. Also explored are the themes of family and the continuity of generations.
An essential part of the project is a showcase of Belarusian folk arts meant to evoke a bond between the past and the present – the pristine purity of heritage passed down from mother to daughter for centuries.
