The V.K. Byalynitsky-Birulya Museum invites you to a themed event dedicated to Mother's Day on October 14 at 5:00 PM – «A Song to Motherhood...»
On this day, the Republic of Belarus also celebrates the Christian holiday of the Intercession of the Holy Mother of God.
The event will include a lecture where you will learn about the Christian, ancient Slavic, and secular traditions of these holidays. A multimedia presentation will introduce you to international and domestic masterpieces dedicated to female images (icons and paintings from the collections of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, other museums around the world, and private collections will be featured).
