The Maladziechna land is rich in cultural traditions. It is an integral part of the history of Belarusian fine arts of the 20th–21st centuries. The Maladziechna art community is worth looking at, so the exhibition provides such an opportunity.
The exposition presents the art of different generations of artists. All of them are not only talented masters, but also bright individuals who found their own artistic journey. The exhibition includes landscapes, portraits, historical and everyday genres, book illustrations.
The older generation of Maladziechna artists is represented by the works of Jadwiga Razdzialowskaja and Miejer Aksielrod. Jadwiga Razdzialowskaja (1902–1992) is a student of the art schools of Lublin and Warsaw, Honored Worker of Culture of Poland, organizer and head of the art studio in Maladziechna. She is a fine and a tactful master of portraits. Miejer Aksielrod (1902–1970) is a graduate of the Moscow Higher Artistic and Technical Workshops (VKHUTEMAS), and a student of Vladimir Favorsky, Pavel Pavlinov, Sergei Gerasimov and Konstantin Istomin.
The next generation of artists is represented by the art of Kanstantsin Harashievich and Lieanid Dudarienka. Kanstantsin Harashievich (1927–2013) is a graduate of the Minsk Art School, and a student of Kanstantsin Kasmachow and Algierd Malishiewski. He is a bright and original landscape painter. Lieanid Dudarienka (born in 1930) is Honoured Artist of Belarus and laureate of the Spiritual Revival Award. He is a master of portrait, landscape and still life.
The third generation of Maladziechna artists is represented by Aliaksandr Pashkievich (born in 1946), Juryj Hierasimienka-Zhyzniewski (1948–1997), Mikalaj Awchynnikaw (born in 1952), Vasil Lazowski (1953–2015), Aliaksandr Gryshkievich (born in 1961) and Siarhiej Pisarienka (born in 1967).
In recent years, the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus has held some solo exhibitions of Maladziechna masters Lieanid Dudarienka, Mikalaj Awchynnikaw and Juryj Hierasimienka-Zhyzniewski. Today, visitors have the opportunity to get acquainted with the art of Maladziechna artists in full.
